By accessing our services here or at your school's respective website, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Affiliation

Your Gradebook account is always associated with a school or organization. To remain free, Gradebook has partnerships with some of these organizations. We will generally denote if your account is linked to a partnership, but if you have any concerns, you can always contact us.

Gradebook does not serve as an offical academic record. As such, data submitted to Gradebook is not bound by FERPA regulations. Additionally, by entering data into Gradebook, you agree that these data are NOT official education records of the user or another party. Gradebook should solely be used as a “What-If” analysis tool, and should never be used as an official record of educational information.

Privacy

As a user of Gradebook, you have the right to expect us to keep your information private. Our promise to you is that we will never sell or give access to your information. We will continue to use best practice techniques to keep your data secure. These include but are not limited to HTTPS encryption, Google authentication, and a protected API for communicating between your browser and our database. Please read our Privacy Policy for more details.

Risk

Users assume all risk when using the tool to perform any calculations to analyze progress or speculate on future academic requirements. However, if errors are found, email contact@gradebook.app with a description of the problem and we will act promptly to ensure that any bugs are rectified.

Use License

Permission is granted to use the services and functionality on Gradebook's website for personal, non-commercial viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not, without explicit written consent:

  • use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

  • attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Gradebook;

  • remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

  • transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server;

  • attempt to overload (DDoS), gain unauthorized access, or otherwise abuse the service.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Gradebook at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any proprietary materials in your possession regardless of format.

Termination of Services

Gradebook reserves the right to terminate your account under certain conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Account inactivity (though you will be given reasonable notice)

  • Abuse

  • Requesting account deletion through the Account page of the Application

  • Requesting account deletion via email

Most of the time, you will be able to create a new account with the same email address. We reserve the right to blacklist your account if deemed necessary. Blacklisted users should not attempt to bypass restrictions by using an alternative email address.

We have not reviewed all of the sites linked to us and we are not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Gradebook of the site. Use of any such linked website is at your own risk!

Modifications

We may revise these terms of service at any time. These terms will be updated here and you may be notifed by email of major changes to these terms. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, USA and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State.
